TV
| OK, I don't watch a lot of television but I do have a few
favorite shows:
Throughout the ages, men of flair, faculty and outstanding courage have contributed to England's glorious heritage. Others have lied and cheated their way up the social ladder to obtain power, money and their pick of the totty. England has long been so blighted by the Blackadder family, who emerged from the dust of dodgy documents to claim their wrongful place in history. Read more at Blackadder Hall. Hilarious English sitcom about thirtysomething single sex lives. It ended after four series but than a US series was made from the same script - massive failure. I've got most of the DVDs if you want to come over - it's a huge favorite amongst my friends. UK's top award-winning spoof comedy documenting the nine to five workday of a stationary company in all its ghastly reality. Absolutely hilarious and I met the writer/director/lead character Ricky Gervais in the House of Blues one night - my only claim to fame :-( He woz failed by da skool system and hated every minute he spent in da classroom. In fact added together, dat time woz probly da most borin 3 hours of hiz life - altho he do still go to a skool re-union every second Monday at Staines Job Centre. (Dese wordz iz nicked from hiz book coz me couldn't be bovvered finkin off anyfin new to say). Anyway he has his own show on HBO so he is doing OK. Hilariously OK.
Happy telly time! |
